Judy Bee entered consulting in l977 after 8 years in the medical and dental field in clinic administration. With a firm understanding of operations, she initially focused on automating health care offices to provide the customary data processing applications as well as adding internal marketing and practice development functions. The consulting practice expanded to include all operations with an emphasis in cost effective staffing, patient flow, and marketing.
Since entering the field Ms. Bee has worked in a consulting capacity throughout the nation with hundreds of practices all over the US. Her client reference list numbers more than 700 physicians in 37 states of the US since 1979. She has presented more than 1,000 workshops, seminars and speaking engagements in the United States and Australia, sponsored by more than forty state, county and specialty medical and dental society organizations as well as the California CPA Foundation for Education and Research. She is an editorial consultant for Medical Economics Magazine and Patient Care Magazine. Ms. Bee is the has collaborated with on more than 400 articles on medical practice management as publisher of UnCommon Sense®, a leading subscription newsletter of management strategy and tactics for physicians.
